Beverly Hills, CA – Celebrating quality in print books from stunning cover designs to absorbing content within the pages, the inaugural Beverly Hills Book Awards® has chosen the top books of the year.
A full list of the 2013 winners and finalists is available here.
A team of publishing industry professionals including publishers, editors, writers and book cover designers judged submissions for overall excellence in book presentation, taking into consideration the cover design, interior layout, and aesthetic components all key to an overall outstanding printed book. They chose winners in a variety of popular categories like fiction, memoirs, mystery and romance, as well as more specific genres of true crime, women’s health, sales and more.
“We are so proud to announce the winners from our opening year,” said awards sponsor Ellen Reid. “These books truly do embody excellence, and will be a favorite on bookshelves for years and years to come.”
The 2014 awards year is open for submissions through March 1, 2014.
Submission guidelines allow nominations of any English language printed books available for sale in the United States.

“Why the Beverly Hills Book Awards®? After decades in the publishing industry and listening to our colleagues talk about the ever-growing challenges when promoting books, we decided that there were so many books being done well we wanted to celebrate the physical book that has always and will always be a part of American culture. And in Beverly Hills we truly value excellence. We welcome submissions of English language books on any topic, sold anywhere in the United States,” said Ellen Reid, sponsor of the Beverly Hills Book Awards®.
