KUDOS for 3rd Annual Awards
We are so thrilled to hear from everyone...here is what they are saying...
At the outset, let me thank you personally as the President of the Beverly Hills Book Awards and the judges of this unique award, for honoring my book CLASSICS: Why we should encourage children to read them as a Winner in the Education Category at the 3rd Annual Beverly Hills International Book Awards.
It is truly an honor to receive such a prestigious award, which recognizes and celebrates excellence in book publishing. To be told that my book met the high standards that this award celebrates, was truly humbling.
As an indie author, I find that all the recognized awards, are closed to those who self-publish their books, even though we may meet and may even exceed the standards set by the traditional publishers. I never hesitate to offer my books for scrutiny at book awards, as they afford me an opportunity to expose my writings to judges who view and judge my book according to the judging criteria that each award uniquely celebrates. Yours is one such award which not only celebrates excellence in writing but also excellence in book publishing.
I have proudly downloaded the HiRes images seals, which you have offered free standards that to all award winners. The paperback version of my book, proudly displays my award seal.
Thank you once again, for doing so much for us indie authors. It will be my honor to participate in the 2016 Beverly Hills International Book Award.
With warm regards,
Forgive the delay in thanking your organization for the Finalist Award for African-American Fiction in 2015 for Jamaal's Journey. My wife and I have just stopped dancing the 2-step around the apartment. Now that we have 'come down' it is appropriate to give thanks to you and all those involved in this award contest. Winning it gives me not only a greater sense of self-worth, but a renewed spirit of confidence in what I love to do—create fictional stories from real life venues. I do hope that because of your award this novel reaches my target audience: African-American high school seniors who have determination and the grit to achieve success in their lives and to pass successfully through that moment we call maturity. Again, my deepest gratitude for this great honor!
It's an honor for three of my books to be selected as finalists in the 2015 Beverly Hills Book Awards. I'm truly flattered for these awards. As any indie author will tell you and as I've stated before, each book is a labor of love, and to be recognized with an award in a competition at this level is truly rewarding on a personal level. The awards are acknowledgment that all the hard work taking each novel from just an idea to a finished and marketable book was well invested. Thank you to Ellen Reid, President and CEO of the USA Regional Excellence Book Awards, and to the judges in this competition. I will accept these awards with gratitude and with recognition to those individuals to whom each book was dedicated and to the many readers who have enjoyed these books. I appreciate the continued support of my works by my readers.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Limestone Gumption: A Brad Pope and Sisterfriends Mystery by Bryan Robinson named Foreword Reviews' 2014 INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards Finalist
Watertown, Maine—Today, Cengage/Five Star Publishing is pleased to announce Limestone Gumption: A Brad Pope and Sisterfriends Mystery by Bryan Robinson has been recognized as a finalist in the 17th annual Foreword Reviews' INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards. Here is the complete list: https://indiefab.forewordreviews.com/finalists/2014/
Each year, Foreword Reviews shines a light on a select group of indie publishers, university presses, and self-published authors whose work stands out from the crowd.
In the next three months, a panel of more than 100 volunteer librarians and booksellers will determine the winners in 63 categories based on their experience with readers and patrons. 'After 17 years, our awards program has become synonymous with quality because our editors set such a high bar on the finalist round, which makes it especially tough for the judges who select the winners,' said Victoria Sutherland, publisher of Foreword Reviews. 'In every genre, our judges will find an interesting, high-quality selection of books culled from this year's entries.'
Foreword Reviews will celebrate the winners during a program at the American Library Association Annual Conference in San Francisco on Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m. at the Pop Top Stage in the exhibit hall. Everyone is welcome. The Editor's Choice Prize for Fiction, Nonfiction, and Foreword Reviews' 2014 INDIEFAB Publisher of the Year Award will also be announced during the presentation.

BUGGLEPUFF NEWS FLASH:
I'm going to New York next month to see two TV/ Media companies very very very exciting! And the International Pirate Festival in the UK which has 25,000 dressed pirates from all over the world has invited me to do a book signing on their pirate ship in May and talk on stage about the Bugglepuff series and Rocky's pirate adventures - what tremendous silliness but super PR!
Many thanks for your support.
I just wanted to say being named "Finalist" in the 2015 Beverly Hills International Book Awards has been great! I was interviewed by Capital Public Radio last week and the award was mentioned and that day and the days that followed my book went from being 650,000 in Amazon listing to 14,000!! Wow! When I received your email I had no idea that you were the genius mind behind these awards. You really give small publishers and tiny books with big hearts, like mine, a well needed boost. Thanks again...words can't express my appreciation.
Many thanks for the Beverly Hills Book Awards media links. Mitch at ExpertClick has been so professional and supportive and has made the whole process with press releases and bringing my award winning book and my endless passion for promoting creative writing and the joy of reading into school that much nearer.
Children's imagination and my excitement to unlock their dreams and delights through writing the Bugglepuff series and other books in the future is going to be so rewarding for both myself and children's glorious smiles and laughter.
Thank you again and still ever hopeful of 'sparkling 'the U.S. Radio stations with my unbounded enthusiasm and technicolor hurricane imagination to families, parents and grandparents. A glorious new chapter has begun and the Beverly Hills Book Awards has given me that opportunity.
Happy Spring Break Warmest wishes
A quick word to let you know how DELIGHTED and honoured I am that 'Do You Choose Your Dog More Carefully Than Your Husband' was selected as a Finalist.
Scrolling down the 2015 list of winners – it felt a very long way down to the Relationship category – and then seeing my book and my name was one of those exciting moments that stay with you. It adds greatly to the authority of my book – and, of course, it is wonderfully validating for me, as a writer.
Many, many thanks,
Annie Kaszina PhD

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your personal note. This was the most personal feedback I had ever received from any of the book competitions. It certainly put my respect for this event way above the others. It was an honor to participate. Thanks again!!
Although I already had three Best Book Awards, THIS is the one I really wanted and which I feel uniquely qualified to receive! I would have been deeply sad had I not won this contest. I love the Performing Arts category!!
My life has been so enriched by being privileged to live in Bev Hls ( on the wrong side of Wilshire ) & be educated by the Bev Hls education system & the way Beverly High gave me the opportunity to design & make costumes for school productions there for 4 years…led me to the direct opportunity to have two, hit Hollywood shows to my credit while still 18. I wrote about this in my Bio.
You are to be commended for recognizing the need to create a contest whose very name is world famous for the best of everything.
There are so many references to Hollywood & Beverly Hills in my book..The story on page 293, " The New Look For Men…the 1950s' tells of when Beverly Drive was the ONLY place to shop…Rodeo Drive, still undeveloped". My favorite Chapter, "Fashions Of The Forties & Hollywood Blvd" tells of how it looked & felt in the innocent 1930,s & 40s before it fell into decay..etc.
Meanwhile, Thanks for creating this award,
Dear Beverly Hills Book Awards Team,
I am so excited! This is my first book, and now it bears the winning seal of my first award! My father asked me to write a book telling the true story of our ancestor, Titus Billings. He wanted it accurate and he wanted it interesting. Would you believe? I have worked on this project for three decades, researching and re-writing it while also rearing nine children. Needless to say, my husband all nine are almost as excited as I am. Now they will have elegant sticker seals for their copies as well.
Thank you ever so much!
Susan Billings Mitchell
Delighted winner of the Beverly Hills Best Book Cover Design and Finalist of the Best New Non-Fiction
Thank yo so much for letting us know that our book, The OPA! Way: Finding Joy & Meaning in Everyday Life & Work, is a Winner in the Self-Help: Motivational Category of the 2015 Beverly Hills International Book Awards!
To say the least, we are thrilled, honored, and truly humbled by the news! We will definitely celebrate this award and what it means for our book. It is the kind of recognition that makes being an author even more meaningful than words themselves can describe.
Again, thank you!
All the best,
Alex & Elaine
Tremendous thanks:) Beverly Hills Book Awards has sparked so much interest for my book series already. Through my twitter and Facebook it's already been favourited and created followers at the Bologna Children's Festival in Italy today. I haven't stopped promoting since Saturdays announcement.
A Hollywood Emmy winning producer and media company has contacted my New York agent today and US publishers have made strong enquiries after the awards announcement. So a thousand thanks. As much sparkling promotion as possible is a delightful recipe for the passion I have for the Bugglepuff series.
Have a magical 2015 and my sincere thanks and appreciation for helping me bring the glittering imagination of the Bugglepuffs to children in the US and abroad. My dream is to create tremendous worldwide fun for kids!
Smiles and laughter to all your team,

Gloriously excited to see my book 'Bugglepuffs and the Magic Key' is the winner of the Preteen fiction award - wow!
I'm so excited and shall write with a sparkle in my heart and hope to impress you further next year with the second book in the series.
Many many delightful thanks, I'm smiling from ear to ear.
Happy week to all the team at the Beverly Hills Book Awards and thankyou for all your hard work.
That's great publicity.
Today I read the press report on BHBA's website and noted that your awards are for print editions, only. And that your judges look not only at the writing, but also at other elements of a book that create excellence. I embrace that philosophy with all my being!
Books can be magical. No, they should be magical. And part of that magic is experiencing a book as a living thing.
I met artist David Condry at a social occasion where we exchanged business cards. When I looked at his website, I knew I had found my illustrator. His pictures captivated and entertained. Collaborating with David was iron sharpening iron.
Three years later, I met Nathan Fisher, my graphic designer. I told him: "When my reader opens this book, I want him or her to enter a new world and be invited to stay there." Nathan understood, and I was delighted with his creative input.
Publishing MARY MARY QUITE has been a team effort. Yes, I'm the queen bee at Busy Bee Publishing, but the only worker bees are the digital presses which produce the final product. For all the other bees in this hive are pure royalty. And I am one very blessed writer/publisher.
How satisfying it is to connect with you and all at BHBA.You understand the magic that is intrinsic to the world of printed books. I feel like I have found new friends.
Very glad to meet you.
I am so happy to be chosen as the winner of your Beverly Hills International Book Award in the Relationships category. I’m sure this award will be a tremendous advantage in giving my book credibility. I am so grateful to you for these awards and for your appreciation of my work!

WOW, thank you so much, I am thrilled and honored!!!!
This is my first novel and it was a labor of love. This means a lot! I will definitely be purchasing stickers, etc. and promoting the Beverly Hills Book Awards! My Mom, Carol Savoie, wrote the Last Cigarette and also won! WOO HOO! She COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. She's over the moon.
Thank you so much— this means a lot to me.
You do a great service for all of us independent publishers and authors.
This award humbles and inspires me to work harder to make my next book the best it can be.
With best wishes to you and your staff,
Lil L. Alexander
When I first saw the gmail alert on my computer screen, it was there for just enough time for me to briefly scan it and, of course, I thought that it was the other U.S. iNDiE BOOKS author, Patrick H. Moore's, Cicero's Dead that had won. When I opened said email and read that it was actually Boysie Blake ~ Problem Solver, me, that had won best thriller, I had to reread it several times for it to finally sink in.
As an author and publisher, when I entered our books into the Beverly Hills Book Awards I had no expectations, but hoped for the best; maybe an honorable mention. To actually win and not only that, but Cicero's Dead to be a finalist too in Crime Fiction, well, I can tell you it was a heart pounding, sweat inducing, 100% adrenalin thrill.
I'm so grateful to you and everyone of your staff that I'm now forever indebted and if there's anything I can do, ever, please let me know. Bleedin' 'ell, I'll even come over, make tea, serve crumpets and lead a sing song of "Knees up mother Brown."
Anyway, thank you so much for truly making my day, week and year thus far.
The warmest of regards,
Thank you so much for writing to me, and for the absolutely wonderful news!
I'm so honoured to be selected. You've just completely made my day!
Thanks so much for organising this important awards event.
Thank you for the information. I would say that this e-mail "made my weekend", but that would be a drastic understatement!! ...once again, THANK YOU.
